West Indian cricket legend Brian Lara rushed to hospital in Mumbai after complaining of chest pains

West Indian cricket legend Brian Lara has been rushed to hospital in India after suffering chest pains.

Lara, 50, was part of the Star Sports television broadcast team covering the Cricket World Cup.

He complained of discomfort and was taken to Global Hospital in the Parel area of Mumbai at around 8am British time on Tuesday.
