Manchester United have reportedly approached Barcelona about the availability of France defender Samuel Umtiti.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has continued United's long-term search for a new centre-half following predecessor Jose Mourinho's attempts to recruit a new option at the heart of his defence last summer.
And according to Spanish outlet El Mundo Deportivo, the Red Devils have turned to Umtiti and have asked Barcelona about a potential transfer.
