It seems timing is not one of Newcastle United's strong points as they told fans to 'form an orderly queue' for their new home kit on the same day Rafa Benitez left the club.
The Spaniard left on Monday morning after he failed to agree a new contract with Mike Ashley and Benitez admitted a lack of vision and long-term planning from those at the top was the reason for his exit in a statement.
Fans were left furious at the news Benitez would be leaving and it came as the latest blow during Ashley's ownership. However, they were left even more infuriated just a few hours later.

There was instant backlash to the post on social media as fans slammed the club's decision to promote the kit on a day where tensions are so high.
