A member of 's backroom team in his 50s is 'in a stable condition' having been rushed to hospital after a suspected overdose at the club's hotel in Perth.

United, who are currently on a pre-season tour of Australia, confirmed that a member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's staff is receiving medical treatment in hospital via a statement. 

Australian news channel 9 News have reported that a male in his 50s was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital from the Crown Towers hotel, where the United squad are based.
