Tiger Woods stepped up his preparations for the Open Championship on Sunday.

This year's Masters champion has not played since finishing 21st at the US Open five weeks ago.

Woods was seen at the Royal Portrush Golf Club getting back into the swing of things this weekend.

The 43-year-old opted to go on holiday to Thailand for a fortnight after his disappointing display at Pebble Beach.

Woods said his mother, who is from Thailand, wanted her grandchildren to see her homeland and that he did not touch his clubs before returning to the United States on July 2.
