Inter Milan's proposed move for Romelu Lukaku is on the brink of collapse as they have started to weigh up alternatives to the striker.

Lukaku has been linked with a move to Serie A for much of the summer and it appeared Inter were inching closer to landing their target for a fee of around £75million.
