Bayern Munich director Hasan Salihamidzic has left manager Niko Kovac red-faced this week after urging him to apologise to Manchester City following his premature comments regarding a transfer of Leroy Sane.
Kovac had publicly stated his confidence that Bayern would be signing Sane from City this summer, despite a deal being some way from completion.
City chiefs are understood to be furious as a result, with Salihamidzic now wanting an apology to be made in order to smooth over relations.
