Real Madrid were back to their lethargic worst in the last 10 minutes at the Bernabeu as they dropped two home points against Valladolid.
With the transfer window still open for one more week in Spain Zinedine Zidane watched his team fail to inspire without the injured Eden Hazard.
They had plenty of the ball but when Karim Benzema finally produced some magic to put them ahead on 82 minutes they nodded-off defensively and allowed Sergio Guardiola to equalise with two minutes remaining.
Karim Benzema looked to have won the game when he gave the hosts a deserved lead

Benzema has carried on from where he left off last season. The team’s top scorer now has two in two games. He spun brilliantly on the edge of the Valladolid penalty area before shooting past Jordi Masip.
That should have made for a tranquil last eight minutes but Real Madrid overdid the tranquility and when Oscar Plano broke Dani Carvajal and Raphael Varane failed to deal with the danger and Guardiola converted.
It would have been even worse for Madrid if Guardiola had not earlier stretched at a chance that may well have been converted by Enes Unal who was coming in behind him.
