A Gareth Bale double saved from defeat but he was sent off in the team’s 2-2 draw with Villarreal.

Zinedine Zidane spent most of the summer trying to sell Bale but he scored twice to make the international break slightly less uncomfortable for the Madrid coach.

There will still be a lot of questions about why have only taken five points from the first three games.
