Rhys Carré may have only started four professional matches in his career - but Warren Gatland has backed the young prop to star at the World Cup.
The 21-year-old, who will join Saracens from Cardiff Blues next season, was preferred above the experienced loose-head Rob Evans, who started four of Wales' Six Nations games this year.
And with tight-head Samson Lee left behind too, Gatland admitted Carré's selection was a gamble.
