Tyson Fury brought forward the defence of his lineal world heavyweight title to this Saturday night so that thousands of Mexicans flocking here would not be robbed of the big Sin City fight which is a traditional part of Independence Day weekend.

Manchester's Gypsy King is paying homage to Mexico throughout the build up to his final rehearsal for a mega-rematch with WBC champion Deontay Wilder next year.

Fury says of his meeting with little-known Swedish heavyweight Otto Walllin: 'This fight was scheduled for mid-October in New York which would have suited me better. But I moved it up a few weeks so that the Mexican people would not be disappointed by not having big boxing on this date for the first time in a long time.
