Manchester United legend Gary Neville has called for his former club to take a leaf out of the book of bitter rivals Liverpool, and up their recruitment policy in order to bring the good times back to Old Trafford.
United have endured a hit and miss start to the season, which began with a morale boosting 4-0 win over Chelsea, before a collection of draws and an embarrassing home defeat to Crystal Palace.
