The American businessmen lined up to takeover Sheffield United if Kevin McCabe won his High Court case are still interested in buying the South Yorkshire club if Prince Abdullah decides to sell it on.

A court ruling found in favour of the Saudi royal this week, directing McCabe to sell his 50 per cent stake in the Blades to his co-owner for £5million.

Prince Abdullah has until July to complete the purchase of the stadium, training ground and several other club-related properties from McCabe at market value, which could total more than £50m.
