Nemanja Matic lavished praise on 's starlets after they impressed in their slender 1-0 win over Astana. 

The midfielder captained the Red Devils on Thursday night as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men won their Europa League opener. 

Matic, at the age of 31, was United's oldest outfield player to start against Astana as Solskjaer decided to hand valuable minutes to the likes of Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes.
