Tottenham spent more than £100million on new players this summer - but Mauricio Pochettino is still unsure whether this is the best squad he has had in north London.
After two transfer windows without any new players, Spurs paid a club-record £65million to capture midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. They also signed Giovani Lo Celso (loan), Jack Clarke (£11.5m) and Ryan Sessegnon (£25m), while holding on to the likes of Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld.
But speaking ahead of his side’s trip to Leicester on Saturday, Pochettino claimed: ‘We will see at the end of the season. At the moment I don’t believe this is the best squad.

‘But I think if you only see the results... it’s easy to say the better squad was last season’s squad because we got to the final of the Champions League.
‘But we will see if we can repeat, or if we win some trophy, maybe we can talk about this is being the best squad.’ Spurs head to the King Power looking to bounce back from a disappointing Champions League draw against Olympiacos on Wednesday night.
