Trent Alexander-Arnold has outlined his long-term desire to one day lead Liverpool as captain, with the 21-year-old set to make his 100th appearance for his hometown club.

The upcoming landmark represents a remarkable start to the youngster's career at Anfield, having played an integral role in his side's Champions League triumph last summer, as well as finding himself on the 30-man shortlist for this year's Ballon d'Or award.
