Danny Drinkwater's future at Burnley hangs in limbo as Sean Dyche remained coy over whether the club will extend the Chelsea midfielder's short term deal at Turf Moor beyond January.
The England international joined The Clarets from Chelsea on loan this summer having seen limited opportunities available at Stamford Bridge under Frank Lampard. However, the loan move has not transpired as he would have liked.
Drinkwater has played just one game for his loan side since joining, in the Carabao Cup in August, and has been involved in off-field predicaments that have limited his game time.
