Ajax extended their streak of league victories to six after fending off PEC Zwolle's comeback and tightening their grip on the Eredivisie summit.

Erik ten Hag's men had visibly struggled against their opponents at the MAC³PARK Stadion, and were even pegged back to within one goal despite racing into a 3-0 lead after just 20 minutes.

But a late strike from David Neres was enough to settle the table toppers' nerves and ease them further clear of AZ Alkmaar in second spot.
