Sir Clive Woodward has criticised the frequency with which England made basic mistakes in the first half of the Rugby World Cup final against South Africa.

England trailed 12-6 at the break after several errors saw Handre Pollard kick four penalties.

And the former England coach was critical of the opportunities they gave to their opponents from the scrum.
