Arsenal centre-back Sokratis has claimed it does not matter who the captain is, before calling on his team-mates to all lead by example on the pitch.

Granit Xhaka was recently relinquished of his captain duties by Unai Emery after his furious spat with supporters at the Emirates against Crystal Palace, where he told fans to 'f*** off' after they jeered him off the pitch.

Gunners striker was the man given the captain's armband following the Xhaka fall-out.
