Snooker supremo Barry Hearn insists there will be no repeat of Mark Selby's six minutes over a single shot at this month's UK Championship.

Three-time world champion Selby, 36, appeared almost frozen during his quarter-final against John Higgins at the Northern Ireland Open.

And the world No 6 took a total of six minutes and 13 seconds before getting the white safe - prompting commentator Neal Foulds to describe the delay as 'stupid'.
