Stefanos Tsitsipas felt the wrath of his mum and dad after the world No 6 lost his temper by smashing his racket at the ATP Cup on Tuesday. 

Having dropped the opening set in a feisty match against Nick Kyrgios, the 21-year-old Greek was furious with himself, swinging his racket wildly in anger as he returned to the team bench.

Multiple vicious swings of the racket missed his dad Apostolos, sat on the bench as he is Team Greece captain, before a final swipe caught him on the top of his right arm, drawing a large bruise.

The 21-year-old soon realised what he had just done and as his dad stood up to have words with his son, Tsitispas' mum Julia got out of her seat in the stand to give her son a stern telling off for his behaviour.
