The onus is set to fall on Luka Jovic and Vinicius Junior for the Spanish Super Cup semi-final

On Wednesday night it will be down to two players who have carried the can for the lack of goals so far to do some of that improving. Luka Jovic is still on just one goal and Vinicius remains the young talent who can do everything but finish.

It was a familiar story for both at the weekend in the 3-0 win over Getafe. They appeared as second half substitutes and Vinicius missed one clear-cut chance and Jovic was booked for a clumsy challenge the first time he went for the ball. Neither scored.

'He is the future,' said Zinedine Zidane on Wednesday. He is only 22 years-old, he is learning and working hard. He is very good and he is going to be a good player for Madrid in the future and he is going to score many goals.'

Jovic scored his first goal for Madrid against Leganes in November but then barely played for the next month.
