Manchester United have identified the three playmakers they could make a move for in the summer, according to reports.
Having whittled down a long list of names at the start of January, United see Jack Grealish, Donny van de Beek and James Maddison as the main targets once the window reopens in the summer.
However, a move for any three of these midfielders would likely see Paul Pogba's second stint at the club come to an end, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The report suggests that United are keen to bring in competition for Bruno Fernandes – who is close to finalising a £60million January move from Sporting.
Van de Beek's contract at Ajax only runs until 2022 but the Dutchman would realistically be interested in United qualify for the Champions League.
