Atletico Madrid will hold showdown talks with Paris Saint-Germain this week as they seek to seal the signing of striker Edinson Cavani.

The Spanish side have reportedly sent CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin to Paris to negotiate the transfer despite the reluctance of PSG sporting director Leonardo to strengthen a Champions League rival.
