Danny Rose has hit out at the way Tottenham treated him in his final few months before his loan move to Newcastle - a switch he is thankful for as they have restored a feeling he had 'missed' of being wanted.
The left back joined the Magpies last month on loan until the end of the season from Spurs.
The 29-year-old has been with Tottenham for the past 13 years but has had several run-ins with the club over contract disputes and famously gave an outspoken interview where he criticised their transfer policy.

Rose is now enjoying a new lease of life at Newcastle - having joined on loan there last month
Following the arrival of Jose Mourinho as manager in November, Rose became a bit-part player at the north London club and was involved in a heated exchange with the Portuguese after being left out of the Premier League clash at Watford on January 18.
