UEFA have announced that Russia will host the 2023 Super Cup despite the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) recommending the nation should not be allowed to host major competitions.

The European governing body revealed on Monday that the 2023 clash between the winners of the Champions League and the Europa League will take place at the Kazan Arena.

Russia was already set to host a number of matches during the summer's pan-continental European Championships.
