Troy Parrott will retain his place in Jose Mourinho’s squad for Wednesday’s FA Cup tie against Norwich.
Ireland striker Parrott, 18, played and scored for Spurs’s Under 23s against Wolves on Monday night, netting just eight minutes into their 3-2 win, 24 hours after making his second Premier League appearance against the same opposition on Sunday.
Parrott came off after 45 minutes against Wolves at Stevenage, as pre-agreed beforehand, due to his planned involvement against the Canaries in the fifth round tie.

The clamour among fans for Parrott to be handed more game time has grown and grown this season, especially since injuries to Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son have left Spurs without a recognised striker option.
Mourinho, though, is being cautious with the teenager’s development and insists his approach is just down to Spurs taking ‘good care’ of their highly-rated prospect.
