Schalke and Bayern Munich players will walk off the pitch in Tuesday night's German Cup quarter-final tie if supporters continue to protest against Hoffenheim owner Dietmar Hopp.

Bayern's six-goal rout at Hoffenheim ended in farce at the weekend as both teams passed the ball to each other for the final 10 minutes after the players were taken off the pitch following protests by the away fans.

Bayern's fans unfurled banners against Hopp, Hoffenheim's chief financial benefactor and majority shareholder.
