All leagues below the National Football League North and South have been called off as the coronavirus continues its decimation of the sporting calendar.

On Thursday afternoon the FA announced its decision to cancel the National League system below steps 1 and 2, meaning that there will be no promotion or relegation of clubs between NLS Steps 3 to 6, as well as no promotion to NLS Step 2.

Meanwhile, all tiers below the Women's Super League and the Championship have also been called off while the governing body works out how to complete the season at the top level.
