Tottenham striker Harry Kane has claimed that the Premier League should try to complete the season when it is safe to play but stressed that the end of June should be the cut off point for the conclusion of the campaign.

All elite football in England has been suspended until April 30 due to the coronavirus pandemic and there has been much debate over how the remaining fixtures should be dealt with.

There have been suggestions in some quarters of extending the season into the summer, but Kane feels that adopting such an approach would have an adverse effect on the following campaign.
