Manchester United have threatened to walk away from the Jadon Sancho deal if they cannot reach a compromise with Borussia Dortmund over the transfer fee.
Dortmund are demanding £108million for the 20-year-old winger, but Old Trafford sources insisted on Tuesday night that the two sides remain far apart in their valuations.
United believe the Germans are being unrealistic in the current economic climate with even the world’s biggest clubs being hit hard by the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.
