Kai Havertz has left the Germany team's training camp to wrap up his £90million move to Chelsea, Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed.
The German playmaker has been linked with Frank Lampard's men for months and the deal is expected to be confirmed imminently. Havertz was an unused substitute in his country's 1-1 draw with Spain on Thursday night as Chelsea's Timo Werner grabbed the headlines by scoring the opener.
And Havertz looks set to line up alongside the forward next season after he departed from Joachim Low's squad in order to push the move through.

In a statement on the club's website, Leverkusen said it had consulted with the German football federation to allow Havertz to leave the group in Stuttgart.
'In order to clarify matters for a possible move to the Premier League club FC Chelsea, Kai Havertz left the Stuttgart team quarters of the German national soccer team on Friday,' it said.
'This step took place after consultation between Bayer 04 and the DFB management.'
