Gareth Southgate said on Tuesday night that Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood would have to regain his trust after inviting girls back to England's team hotel.

The manager also said he would have sent the duo home for their misconduct in Reykjavik even if the squad had not been living in a biosecure bubble.

He described their behaviour as 'unacceptable on any basis' after Tuesday night's goalless draw with Denmark, a disappointing match that was overshadowed by the scandal on the eve of the game.
