Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has stated that he doesn't want to sign a striker who is afraid of competing with the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
Mourinho is eager to bring in an extra forward before the closure of the transfer window, but some players, such as Red Bull Salzburg's Patson Daka, have turned down the chance to join Tottenham.
Despite Tottenham's need for additional attacking firepower, Mourinho is adamant that any prospective new signing must have the right attitude.

Mourinho says he doesn't want to sign players who are afraid to compete with Harry Kane
As reported by The Mirror, Mourinho said: 'The point is not me convincing the striker is the striker convincing me.
'And if the striker is afraid to come to Tottenham, and the striker is afraid of competition then I don't want a striker.
'If he says I don't want to go because I don't want to be in a squad where we have Harry Kane, Son, Lamela, Lucas Moura then, goodbye.'
Mourinho is confident that Tottenham will be able to bring in a striker.
'Yes, I want, I need a striker. The club know that I want a striker and they want a striker. Are we going to get one? I believe so. For the balance of the squad, we need it.
'Are we going to get one? I believe so, I honestly believe so.'
