Manchester City's chief operating officer has admitted that a move to bring Lionel Messi to the Eithad next summer is 'being considered'.
The Argentine looked set to make the shock move to the Premier League in the summer when he made clear his intention to leave Barcelona, citing a clause that he believed existed in his contract.
But Messi was forced to stay at the Nou Camp for the final year of his deal, and may still look to in 12 months' time after he went public with his anger that he was being forced to stay.
