Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott has joined Championship club Blackburn Rovers on loan for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

The Merseyside club confirmed the 17-year-old's temporary move to Lancashire after reports emerged earlier in the day they were considering handing him some first-team experience.

The highly-rated attacking midfielder, who moved to Anfield from Fulham in the summer of 2019, played for the first-team in the third round of the Carabao Cup against Lincoln last month.
