Ricky Hatton has hit back at Deontay Wilder, declaring the American's raft of excuses for his defeat by Tyson Fury as 'an absolute insult'.
Wilder lost his unbeaten record after he was stunned by the Gypsy King in Las Vegas back in February, with trainer Mark Breland throwing in the towel in the seventh round.
The American heavyweight has since reeled off a string of pathetic excuses, such as Fury was using weights in his gloves and his walkout costume was too heavy. Last week he even said his water was 'tampered with' by Breland.

When asked for his thoughts on Wilder's refusal to accept defeat Hatton, who was in Fury's corner, slammed the Bronze Bomber's claims as 'ludicrous' and said it left the camp feeling insulted.
