Kane and Son became the most prolific partnership in Premier League history when the England skipper set up his team-mate with a precision cross after 43 minutes for Tottenham's second goal in a 3-0 win.

It was the 13th time they had combined with each other to score this season - equalling the record in a single season set by Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton at Blackburn. And the Spurs duo still have 22 games left.

Son lived up to his unselfish image by heaping praise on others as he reached his century landmark.

'I'm very happy and grateful to my team-mates who have always supported me,' said the Korean star.

'It's not coming from me alone, I've needed a lot of help. To score 100 goals with one team is a big thing. I'm very proud.'

Kane had opened the scoring from the penalty spot with his 12th Premier League goal of the season but still stands two behind his partner.
