Robin van Persie is poised to help out with coaching his prodigy son Shaqueel next season as part of a new role with Feyenoord's U-16 team, according to reports.

Legendary former Arsenal and ace Van Persie took up his first coaching role last May, a year after retiring, as an assistant under Dick Advocaat at the Eredivisie outfit.

Now, it appears the 37-year-old is set to make a move into youth football and, as claimed by Algemeen Dagblad, his brief will see him help his the starlet flourish on his path to senior action.
