Scotland are yet to score or win at Euro 2020 but Ally McCoist is getting 'carried away more than he ever has' with the national team.

A 0-0 draw at Wembley Stadium against England saw Steve Clarke's 'fearless' side win plenty of plaudits and McCoist, himself a former Scotland international, is chief among them.

That point, despite the opening group loss to Czech Republic, has set up a winner-takes-all clash at Hampden Park against Croatia and McCoist is brimming with excitement at the prospect of progress.

'I genuinely think we can do it,' McCoist wrote in his Telegraph column. 'I look at our players and and can't help but get carried away more than I ever have as a supporter. 

'I'm so looking forward to Tuesday without a bloody clue what's going to happen but knowing it will be full of drama.
