Manchester United fans could still cast a keen eye over the first round of the Carabao Cup despite not being involved with Wayne Rooney's Derby County set to take on Gary Neville and co's Salford City.
Derby - managed by United's all-time scorer Rooney since January - will host Class of 92-owned Salford in the standout tie of first round of the competition, which kicks off on the week-commencing August 9.
After news of the draw, Neville send a tweet to his former team-mate reading: 'Come on Wayne Rooney!!!!! Let’s be having ya'.

It will be one of the first game of Rooney's first full season in charge of the Rams after they narrowly avoided relegation from the Championship on the final day last campaign.
Salford City, owned by Neville, brother Phil, David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs, and Paul Scholes, have risen up the football pyramid since the former United
