Scott Parker's first game in charge of Bournemouth will be live on Sky Sports with the Cherries taking on West Brom, who are also under new management.
The Baggies appointed former Barnsley boss Valerien Ismael following the departure of Sam Allardyce, who was unable to keep the club in the Premier League last season.
The game at the Vitality Stadium will kick off the new Championship season on Friday, August 6, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
