Barcelona great Xavi has ruled out any sort of return to the Catalan club in the near future, saying he has a great relationship with president Joan Laporta but 'nothing else'.

Xavi has been constantly linked with the Barcelona job and was reportedly top of Laporta's list to replace Ronald Koeman if the Dutchman was shown the door after an underwhelming season for the Spanish giants.

However, while Laporta has decided to stick with Koeman for the foreseeable, the question over a return for Xavi still lingers.
