Denmark were given a hero's send-off as they left their Helsingor training base before making their way to London for their Euro 2020 semi-final clash with England.

Hundreds of fans lined the street outside the hotel where the team had been staying as they cheered manager Kasper Hjulmand from his balcony.

Danish flags were being waved while a number of young girls playing the flute serenaded Kasper Schmeichel and Co moments before they departed.

Once they've touched down in England, Denmark will make their way to north London and will be based at Tottenham Hotspur's training ground in Enfield ahead of the semi-finals, and final should they make it, at Wembley.

While the send-off they received back home will certainly be uplifting, the Denmark players will be happy to know that they will have almost 8,000 supporters in their corner
