Matteo Berrettini and Ajla Tomljanovic, the ‘it’ couple of this year’s Championships, were asked by the Wimbledon Channel what it’s like to be in a relationship with another player.
Berrettini, the Italian No 7 seed, said: ‘I feel 10 times more stressed watching her match than when I’m playing. When she’s playing, I’m the most stressed guy on the planet.’
He looked like a cat on hot bricks while Tomljanovic was losing to Ash Barty but it will be roles reversed today as Tomljanovic watches her boyfriend face Felix Auger-Aliassime.
