Denmark captain Simon Kjaer said he was proud of his side despite being knocked out of Euro 2020 in the semi-finals by England.
The Danes were never expected to progress to the last four and had a rollercoaster ride to Wembley after losing their first two group games - as well as their star man Christian Eriksen in a horrifying ordeal as he suffered a cardiac arrest.
But Kasper Hjulmand's side became one of the sweethearts of the tournament as the footballing world poured out their support following Eriksen's collapse - which the midfielder recovered from and continued to cheer his side on.
