A shaken Lando Norris can’t wait for the British Grand Prix to roar into life to banish the memory of his mugging at Wembley on Sunday.

The McLaren driver, 21, was ambushed by thugs as he stepped into his car after the Euro 2020 final and robbed of his prototype Richard Mille watch worth £40,000.

Ahead of qualifying at Silverstone this afternoon, Norris said: ‘I am not in perfect condition. I am still a bit sore. It was scary. Having this race will help to take my mind off it and to focus on something else.
