David Beckham is reportedly backing Phil Neville to succeed as Inter Miami manager – despite the club's horrific form that has seen them lose six games on the bounce.
Inter Miami, who are co-owned by Beckham, fell to a sixth consecutive defeat on Thursday after being thrashed 5-0 by New England - with the loss leaving them rooted to the bottom of the MLS Eastern Conference.
Neville was quick to issue an apology to Inter Miami fans after the embarrassing defeat but is set to have the backing of friend and former Manchester United team-mate Beckham, according to The Sun.

The Sun are reporting that Beckham will fly out to Florida in a bid to offer Neville his reassurances that he has the club's support.
During their run of six straight losses, the newly-created franchise have conceded 13 goals while scoring just once themselves, and the pressure has seriously ramped up on Neville.
