Tiny car meet Tiny BUS! Social media goes crazy for Tokyo Games' match ball delivery in opening Rugby 7s match... as catapult 'converts' through mini posts on its roof to go one better than Euro 2020 version By Nathan Salt For Mailonline Published: 01:44 BST, 26 July 2021 | Updated: 01:49 BST, 26 July 2021 Viewcomments Just when sports fans thought they had seen the back of Euro 2020's 'Tiny Car' those watching the Tokyo Olympics were treated to the 'Tiny Bus' making an appearance before the Rugby 7s opener. As hosts Japan prepared to take on Fiji in the first Rugby 7s match of the Games, the match ball was delivered in a less-than-traditional fashion. If the 'Tiny Car' stole the show at football's European Championships then the 'Tiny Bus' went one further, delivering the ball via a conversion off it's roof to leave viewers in amazement. 'TINY RUGBY BUS, THIS IS NOT A DRILL,' one fan wrote. 'Fans of tiny cars delivering balls to sporting events, rejoice. The Olympics Rugby 7s has you covered,' another added. One Twitter user likened Japan's 'Tiny Bus' as the 'cousin' to its car compatriot used at Euro 2020. With no fans in attendance at the Tokyo Stadium it proved a low key affair until the bus appeared.
